Peer and Care Coordinator Manager

Riverside is seeking a passionate Peer and Care Coordinator Manager to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) team in Norwood. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated behavioral health professionals!

The Peer and Care Coordination Manager (PCC Manager) for the CBHC serves as a member of the CBHC Leadership Team and uses their own lived experience to supervise and support the care coordination and peer workforce (recovery coaches, peer specialists, and family partners) within the CBHC Program. The PCC Manager directly supervises all peers and care coordinators within the CBHC component in weekly individual supervision and provides weekly group supervision and consultation to the peers in the MCI and CCS components. The PCC Manager also provides regular consultation to managers and other team members on recovery concepts and values.  The PCC Manager will provide regular training and support in recovery related topics across CBHC sites. 

Primary responsibilities for the PPC Manager include:

  • Lead regular training and support in recovery related topics across CBHC sites. 
  • Regular supervision, including modeling and observation of practice for identified supervisees
  • Ensure that care coordination and peers are actively integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Offer hope that Recovery is possible by acting as a role model for recovery and using personal recovery story, as appropriate
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, orientation and training for all peer and care coordination support staff within CBHC.
  • Manage and/or lead recovery events and formal advocacy with key stakeholders 

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Pay Rate: $63,993.48/salaried

  • additional $1/hourly for CPS
  • additional $2/hourly for CARC

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) required.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a team of staff required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed. 

Required Experience

  • Bachelors, Associates, and/or LADC II strongly preferred
  • Must have at least 3 years lived experience of recovery in the context of behavioral health challenges
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience serving in a peer role (or similar adjacent experience like case management)
  • Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Must be either a Certified Peer Specialist or Certified Recovery Coach, or have obtained one of these certifications within (6-12 months)
  • Recovery Coach Supervisor training preferred
