Job Description
The Pharmacy Clerk provides a high level of patient care satisfaction by communicating and addressing requests to ensure patients have a positive experience. Supports and collaborates with the healthcare team, the pharmacist, to ensure patients receive high quality care at Mountain Park Health Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ·
- Assists patients by receiving payments using the cash register, for over-the-counter sales and prescriptions.
- Organizes and replenishes the pharmacy stock.
- Unpacks, prices, and labels drugs and places on pharmacy shelves.
- Answers phone calls and responds to inquiries from patients and directs healthcare professionals to appropriate staff members.
- Supports compliance with the 340B drug pricing policy and abides by all rules and regulations set forth by the State Board of Pharmacy and Mountain Park Health Center (MPHC) policies and procedures.
- Travels to multiple locations during shift.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be bilingual and able to interpret for Spanish-speaking patients.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Cashier or customer service experience
