Job Description

  • Work Dates Needed : Ongoing, Est. start date: 04/11/2026, Est. length of assignment: 2-6 months, 10 shifts/month
  • Preferred Schedule : 7a-7p and 7p-7a
  • Worksite Setting : Inpatient (Hospital), Annual patient volume: 10,000, Total # of hospital beds: 17, ED beds: 5
  • Scope of Work : Emergency medicine
  • Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : Active NC state medical licenses, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS
  • EMR : Paragon
  • Pay Rate Preferred : TBD

Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position:

  • Current Staffing Model of this program (MD & APCs): Solo Provider - currently 3 APC, 1 MD
  • Temporary or emergency privileges be granted
  • EM experience : 3 + years
  • Provider will be privileged at Swain, but credentials are for both facilities once granted.
  • This position does both EM and HM.
