Full Job Description
Summary:
This role requires an experienced professional to oversee the accounting and finance operations of a manufacturing facility. The position will be responsible for overseeing all plant accounting
Essential Functions:
- Provides support in reviewing and understanding data related to work centers, routers, costing rollups/analysis, data integrity/reporting, and ongoing decision support as needed.
- Monitor capital and major expense projects.
- Support inventory management through physical inventories and cycle counting. Ensures compliance with policies.
- Prepares reconciliations, commentary, and journal entries for various transactions and ensures reviews comply with regulatory documentation and approval requirements
- Manages the annual operating plan working closely with the Product Line Management and Operations team to set targets.
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial results, establishing both short-term and long-term forecasts.
- Analyzes variances and guides the organization for variance reduction
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- 6+ years of relatedexperience.
- Experience withaccounting principles, financialanalysis/reporting, budgeting, andforecasting.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, cost accounting and inventory management concepts.
