Position Overview

The Porter works on-site to complete all groundskeeping tasks as directed by their supervisor. Their responsibilities include removing trash from the facility, preparing trash for pickup by the waste hauler, mopping, and performing daily cleaning of assigned areas.


What You Will Do

Groundskeeping and Upkeep of property:

  • Ensure completion of daily checklists.
  • Maintain exterior cleanliness and overall curb appeal for the property.
  • Maintain landscaping in good repair in between 3rd party service visits.
  • Clean and sweep swimming pools as required.
  • Arrange property furniture as directed.
  • Mop and vacuum daily in all areas required.
  • Ensure all amenity areas stay clean and presentable throughout the day.
  • Responsible for ensuring product presentation meet brand and company standards at all time. 

Other:

  • Must be able to work a full shift / required work schedule on-site at the property. 
  • Must be available for additional hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
  • Must be available to assist with move-outs, turn, and move-ins that extend beyond normal full-time hours
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday.

Ideally, You'll Have

  • High School or equivalent education preferred
  • Proficient in simple computer tasks

You'll crush it if you have experience with

  • One year experience in maintenance or a skilled trade
  • Experience in the student housing or multi-family industry
