Job Description
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Pricing Analyst or Principal Pricing Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications below.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Proposal pricing activities, working closely with Engineering, Contracts, Business Management, and other functional teams across multiple programs and new pursuits
• Effectively collaborate across organizational stakeholder representatives to lead the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts
• Lead pricing activities on various sizes of proposals
• Support gate reviews, government audits, customer fact-finding and negotiations with the customer
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at a Pricing Analyst level or Principal Pricing Analyst level
• Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
• Requires a bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; 1 year with a master's degree; or 6 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree (Principal level requires 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a master's degree; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)
• Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Requires experience with pricing, proposals, contracts, or other related financial business capacity
Preferred Qualifications
• Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years)
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, business case analysis, and proposal cycles and schedules
• Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
