Job Description
The Principal/Sr Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst will be the operating unit's financial planner and will interact with various operating unit, business area, business unit, and division staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements. This position will support rolling forecast updates/reviews, long range strategic
Responsibilities:
• Support operating unit rolling forecast updates/reviews
• Support operating unit long range strategic plan development
• Update/coordinate forward pricing/indirect estimates for operating unit
• Review EACs for accuracy and compliance
• Facilitate month end variance comments with operating unit team
• Research balance sheet/UBAR and backlog balances for programs without assigned program control analyst
• Monitor suspense balances and coordinate corrections
• Validate monthly operating unit financials
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst
• Must have 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis or industry related fields OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis or industry related fields
• Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)
• Experience with SAP
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Sr Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst
• Must have 12 year of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis or industry related fields OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis or industry related fields
• Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)
• Experience with SAP
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior financial analysis and/or reporting experience
• Experience with NGFP/COGNOS
• Experience with PLSC
• Prior program cost control experience
• Experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software (Cobra)
• Defense Industry Experience
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
Salary Range: $74,600.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $92,900.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
