Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Enterprise Architect to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of our ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, with the ability to craft scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with the organization's IT and business strategies. Core Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Architecture:
- Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise-wide ServiceNow architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability.
- Lead the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.
- Define and maintain technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for ServiceNow implementations and configurations.
- Oversee the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM) to meet business needs and industry standards.
- Ensure that the ServiceNow platform adheres to security, compliance, and data governance requirements, including audit and control processes.
Enterprise Integration Strategy:
- Lead the development of the integration strategy for ServiceNow with other enterprise applications and third-party tools.
- Work with IT teams to develop and implement API integrations, web services, and data synchronization strategies between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Define and implement best practices for data management, system integrations, and workflows across the platform.
- Ensure the interoperability and seamless communication of ServiceNow with existing IT infrastructure.
Technical Leadership and Governance:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure that the ServiceNow platform adheres to enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure alignment of ServiceNow with the overall IT architecture strategy.
- Oversee architectural reviews and governance processes for all ServiceNow development efforts, including customizations, integrations, and new features.
- Ensure that ServiceNow solutions are designed with a long-term, scalable approach in mind.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, innovations, and emerging trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the enterprise.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the ServiceNow platform to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to platform stability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and efficiency gains across the organization using ServiceNow capabilities.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Engage with senior leadership to align ServiceNow initiatives with the broader organizational strategy and goals.
- Provide guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and how they can be leveraged to improve business processes and drive digital transformation.
Strategic Planning and Roadmap Development:
- Develop and maintain an enterprise ServiceNow roadmap, aligning with both short-term and long-term business goals.
- Define the strategic direction for ServiceNow adoption and growth, ensuring it supports the broader IT and business strategies.
- Evaluate current and future state of IT operations and recommend improvements using the ServiceNow platform.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic initiatives for the ServiceNow platform.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to ServiceNow architecture, integrations, and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, and ensure that ServiceNow solutions adhere to organizational policies.
Experience:
- 9+ years of experience in IT service management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow architecture.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Experience with integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and third-party tools.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and enterprise architecture principles.
Skills:
- Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, application development, integrations, and customizations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, enterprise application integration, and system architecture.
- Ability to design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions that scale with enterprise needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and innovate.
- Proficiency in explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the organization.
Certificates (Preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification
- Enterprise Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF)
