The Role

Do you want to make a difference in our customers' lives and work with a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the value of our service offerings across Fidelity's Institutional Wealth Management Services? We are looking for a Principal Systems Analyst who will drive the end user experience with your technical competence, initiative, and brokerage knowledge to support our account management effort for Institutional Clearing and Custody Clients.

The focus of this position will entail driving the technical analysis and support of our IWMS account management systems. You will be expected to support extensive gap analysis, research dataflows from user facing UIs through to backend systems and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. You will work closely with the Squad Lead and a team to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up IWMS Digital Account Management experiences.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Extensive experience as a Systems Analyst or equivalent role, with a strong record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions
  • Deep brokerage industry knowledge, with expertise in account management, clearing, and custody operations
  • Proven ability to lead complex system analysis efforts, including end-to-end data flow mapping and integration design
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database querying
  • Strong experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, Splunk, and API ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions and align technical solutions with strategic business goals
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience guiding cross-functional teams in a product-centric environment

The Team

This Systems Analyst will be part of the IWMS Digital Account Management product area. The candidate will be a core member on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad), partnering with squad leads, business analysts, architects, technology leads, to ensure successful delivery of program objectives and alignment of the work to deliver the product roadmap.
