Join our Product Industrialization Engineering team within the Sleep and Respiratory Care (SRC) Business Group to develop and validate software solutions supporting industrialization and service processes for medical devices.

Your role:

  • Develop and validate industrialization hardware and software solutions, primarily using LabVIEW, to support manufacturing and service activities.
  • Participate in software code and system design reviews, ensuring robust and compliant solutions.
    Execute test protocols, gather objective evidence, document results, and track discrepancies to closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both new and sustaining activities for manufacturing and service software solutions.
  • Provide project status updates, manage multiple concurrent projects, and mentor junior staff members.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired experience in software development and validation, ideally in an industrial or regulated environment, as an individual contributor.
  • Your skills include LabVIEW development (strongly desired), data analytics, Gage R&R, and experience within a manufacturing environment. Bonus skills include experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries such as automotive or defense.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently while collaborating in a team environment. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Pennsylvania is $67,500 to $108,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
