MathWorks is seeking a technically strong and strategically minded Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager to lead the growth of System Composer, our solution for modeling and analyzing system and software architectures. This role combines product strategy, customer engagement, and go-to-market execution to expand adoption across industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy to grow market share in system and software architecture applications

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning for System Composer that resonates with engineering teams and decision-makers

  • Create workflow-based demos and technical content that highlight the value of architecture modeling in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

  • Engage with strategic customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify growth opportunities

  • Collaborate with development teams to influence product roadmaps based on market needs and customer insights

  • Enable the global sales team through training, collateral, and technical support


Qualifications

  • Technical background in systems engineering or software architecture for example experience with SysML, UML, UAF, DoDAF

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value and business impact

  • Industry experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or related industries

  • Involvement in professional organization(s) such as INCOSE, OMG, IEEE, AIAA, SAE

  • Analytical skills with strong overall marketing, research, and planning abilities


Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
