Product Specialist - IV
Position Overview
Seeking a customer-focused Product Support Specialist to serve as the bridge between customers, product development, and cross-functional teams. This role will leverage customer insights, market research, and product expertise to drive product improvements, enhance user adoption, and support product strategy. The ideal candidate will create engaging training content, deliver presentations, and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep product knowledge, including product features, functionality, use cases, and competitive positioning.
- Gather, analyze, and translate customer feedback and user insights into actionable recommendations that support product enhancements and development.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to deliver a seamless product experience from launch through adoption.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoring to identify opportunities for innovation and inform product roadmap decisions.
- Create and maintain product documentation, training materials, user guides, knowledge base articles, and product demonstrations.
- Deliver product training, presentations, workshops, and enablement sessions for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Support customer education initiatives to increase product adoption, engagement, and overall satisfaction.
- Communicate product capabilities, benefits, and best practices to diverse audiences.
- Provide customer advocacy by representing the voice of the customer in product discussions and strategic planning.
- Collaborate across departments to identify and resolve product-related challenges and improve the end-user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of product management, product specialist, or related experience, with demonstrable success at a senior level.
- Strong experience working with consumer data, content strategy, and consumer insights to drive product decisions and customer outcomes.
- Proven ability to translate qualitative and quantitative research into product requirements and measurable improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience creating content, product documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in an Agile environment.
- Experience with data privacy, security, and governance considerations when handling consumer data.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
Benefits
20% Bonus, paid out in March (last year was paid at 125% and this year will be 150%). 70% of the bonus is tied to company/business performance, 30% personal.
11 Holidays Annually - 9 (NY Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Product Launch Appreciation Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving + Day After, Christmas and 2 Floating (1 cultural & religious observance, 1 volunteer day)
PTO is generous and starts with 16 days plus 5 sick days (20 days at year 5-9, 25 at 10 year) and Summer Fridays
