Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead operations at our eBOS manufacturing facility. This role will oversee a team of Production Supervisors and Process Engineers, ensuring the successful execution of the production schedule, driving operational effectiveness, and continuously improving manufacturing processes. The Production Manager will collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, and other cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and maintain world-class standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations to ensure the on-time and efficient execution of the production schedule.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Production Supervisors and Process Engineers to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and cost, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive manufacturing process improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other best practices to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure equipment uptime and reliability and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Partner with the Quality team to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, and to address issues promptly and effectively.
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and other supporting departments to align production with overall business goals.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements within the facility.
- Prepare and present production performance reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in managing supervisors and technical staff.
- Proven track record of driving production efficiency and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with eBOS or related electrical balance-of-system manufacturing is highly desirable.
