Production Supervisor - 1st Shift
Job Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead production teams across multiple shifts to deliver exceptional results in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a zero-loss culture, and build team capability in reliability and process optimization. You will manage resources, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure production schedules are met while creating an engaged, team-oriented workforce.
Your Impact
- Lead and engage production teams to achieve plant goals in Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Delivery, and Engagement.
- Manage production and maintenance activities across multiple shifts to ensure operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and focused improvement teams.
- Facilitate Daily Direction Setting meetings and maintain adherence to GMPs and plant policies.
- Coach team members on accountability, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication.
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and staffing to meet production schedules.
- Provide training and resources to support team development and performance.
- Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators, conduct gap analysis, and implement action plans.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices through frequent safety coaching.
- Respond to non-routine situations and provide coverage for vacations and other absences.
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, or Business highly preferred; may consider relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 2-3 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment; food production experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of production equipment and systems, including maintenance activities.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of driving results.
- Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience implementing and utilizing digital solutions for communication, data collection, and data reporting to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Comfortable working in hot or cold environments, climbing ladders/stairs, and managing flexible schedules based on business needs.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
