Program Director, Lean Six Sigma

As a Program Director of Lean Six Sigma at Honeywell, you will manage governance, data, resource allocation, and reporting for a newly launched Lean Six Sigma program in Honeywell's Energy & Sustainability Solutions division. You will manage the annual intake of nominees to be certified and mentor/mentee pairing assignments. You will lead interaction with candidates to support their program experience, including kickoff meetings, timeline reminders, Q&A, and community activities. You will own a set of certification and growth/productivity benefit targets which you will track and report progress against monthly. You will report directly to our VP of Transformation, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of development and deployment of best-in-class six sigma certification program
  • Govern certification program and maintain data
  • Audit, develop, and improve existing certification support materials e.g. training, templates, etc.
  • Match business needs with capable six sigma certified talent to drive faster and higher-quality process improvement in the business/functions
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to executive leadership on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and their impact on productivity, cost savings, and revenue/income growth.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management, project management, Kaizen, six sigma or related roles
  • Minimum of 6 years working in a large multi-layered corporation or organization >$1B in annual turnover
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Commercial experience including sales, pricing, general management, finance, or offering management roles
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Experience with enterprise-level data systems & reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
