MathWorks, a leading developer of engineering software, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Delivery Manager to work alongside our expert engineers in the Consulting Services Group. The successful candidate will manage our most complex and strategic consulting projects, and continuously improve our project management methods and processes. This role requires established project management skills and customer-facing experience to ensure the successful delivery of consulting engagements.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resourcing, budget, and risk mitigation
- Serve as the primary business point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Support cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and subject matter experts, to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Lead and own the implementation of Project Management best practices to ensure the quality and consistency of project execution
- Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, and issues
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies
- Lead and/or support strategic internal and process improvement projects
Qualifications
- Experience with project management and professional services automation tools
- Previous experience working in consulting, or in supporting consulting teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Outgoing, persistent, and tenacious; able to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity
- Ability to influence others to get things done, even with no direct line of authority
- PMP certification is a plus
- Expertise in process improvement and change management
- Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, finance, or healthcare is advantageous
- Knowledge of MathWorks products, MATLAB and Simulink
- Familiarity with mathematical modeling, data analysis, and simulation
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
