CBX Connect is a fast growing provider of technology infrastructure in the MDU space, specifically currently focusing on Design, Installation and Support of managed Wi-fi in student housing. Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the implementation of Internet services in residential housing, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The Project Manager for CBX is responsible for both new development and existing takeover projects. Primary responsibilities include communication, coordination, installation, and oversight of all areas within. The Project Manager ensures that each of these areas is completed and communicated to all relevant parties both internally and externally to successfully deliver new and existing projects on time.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for the installation and configuration of internet services in multifamily residential housing.
- Travel when necessary to assigned projects.
- Coordinate with internet service providers to bring fiber optic service into buildings.
- Liaise with general contractors, electricians, and low-voltage contractors to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place for wired and wireless internet access.
- Evaluate and determine the necessary network hardware and equipment needs based on low-voltage designs.
- Handle the procurement of network hardware, equipment, and connectors.
- Oversee the network configuration for multiple VLANs catering to different user groups including residents, employees, access control, CCTV, and management.
- Coordinate the shipment of equipment, ensuring timely and secure delivery to sites.
- Manage the installation of wireless equipment and fiber inside plant backbone through subcontractors.
- Oversee the installation of MDF/IDF network equipment.
- Conduct network audits and coordinate wireless network surveys.
- Facilitate the handoff of support responsibilities once project scopes are completed.
- Develop & review project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
- Demonstrate success in project execution by consistently completing project on time and under budget
- Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ideally, You'll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Computer science, or related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience in Project Management.
You'll crush it if you have experience with
- 2-4 years in project management in the residential internet or managed services industry
- Certifications in Cisco/ Ruckus or Solid understanding of Networking environment & setup.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess risks, and implement effective solutions.

Pay Range
USD $70,000.00 - USD $82,000.00 /Yr.
Additional Compensation
Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, typically ranging between 10-15% of base salary annually, depending on individual and organizational performance.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, seniority, geographic location, and business needs.
This role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, including bonuses, commissions, stipends, or non-cash incentives, depending on position and performance.
