Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the manufacturing sector, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive operational efficiency. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage manufacturing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Conduct project meetings and presentations to review progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to project plans.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 experience in project management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
