Overview:
St. Mary s Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health team in Amsterdam, NY. This full-time, hospital-employed position is based within our 20-bed adult inpatient unit and offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will work closely with social workers, psychiatric nurses, and therapists to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered treatment in a safe and therapeutic environment.

Position Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-based role with a structured schedule.
- 20-bed inpatient adult unit with multidisciplinary team support.
- Ability to collaborate with social workers, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Low call burden and supportive leadership team.
- Opportunities to participate in quality improvement and teaching initiatives
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range - $285K 325K (commensurate with experience).
- Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.
