Quality Management (QM) Bachelor’s Level Intern – Spring 2026
We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Bachelor’s level intern with strong writing and analytical skills to join our dynamic Quality Management (QM) team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health policy, quality improvement, and data-driven decision-making across a leading behavioral healthcare organization.
About the Quality Management Department
Riverside’s Quality Management Department oversees care for more than 40,000 individuals each year. Our team monitors incidents, conducts investigations, manages the Human Rights system, coordinates quality improvement initiatives, and maintains program policies across a wide range of services.
As a Quality Management Intern, you’ll work on meaningful projects that directly support Riverside’s mission to deliver safe, high-quality care while ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Do
As part of our collaborative team, you’ll engage in projects that drive meaningful quality improvements throughout the organization, including:
- Reviewing, classifying, and entering data from multiple sources into the Quality Management database system to support accurate reporting and analysis
- Developing and revising QM fact sheets distributed organization-wide to promote clarity and consistency on a range of quality-related topics
- Supporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, such as providing data support and contributing to Riverside’s annual satisfaction survey reporting
- Collaborating on a Human Rights Systems improvement initiative, helping to strengthen processes that uphold client rights
Internship Details
- Schedule: Flexible, 10–20 hours per week (hybrid)
- Start Date: January 2026
- Compensation: Unpaid; ideal for students seeking course credit
- Orientation: Attendance at New Employee Orientation is required prior to starting

Required Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor Degree program
