Position Overview:

We have an immediate need for a locum Interventional Radiology Physician to provide interventional procedures for our veteran population at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. This role offers a great assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with nations veterans while experiencing the beauty and history of San Antonio.

  • Must have completed a residency in Interventional Radiology and be Board Certified in accordance with the American Board of Radiology
  • Physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional radiology procedures.
    • DETAILED PROCEDURES LIST AVAILABLE

Hours & Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 7:00am 4:00pm CT
  • On call (Nights / Weekends / Holidays) required and On-Call schedule will be completed at least two weeks before the start of each month
  • Position starts 7/1/2026 and is a 5-year opportunity!
  • Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4 6 weeks.

Items Required for Submission:

  • Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are accepted
  • One active, unrestricted Medical License in any state
  • Current DEA
  • BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA)
  • BC/BE Documentation
  • 3 Current References
