Job title: Regulatory Analyst (Idea to Market)

Department / Division: Nutrition Regulatory / Research and Development

Salary Range: $96,081 - $106,194 per year, plus bonus

Location: Ada, MI (Onsite)

What do we need:

We seek an experienced regulatory analyst to provide regulatory strategy for our nutrition product development projects. These products will be new launches for Amway, so you’ll working on the cutting edge of our Nutritional portfolio.

In this role, you will work on the regulatory activities of product design, ensuring successful regulatory pathways for Amway nutrition products sold in over 80 countries and territories around the globe. By collaborating with key stakeholders both within our organization and globally, you will help nutrition product development teams to deliver regulatory-compliant solutions that address various product design challenges. Your expertise is essential for us to innovate and bring new nutritional products to market effectively.

You will work on assessments for concept, ingredient, formula, and finished products, international label and claims development, for new nutrition products. Additionally, you will commonly work with global teams, collaborating with regulatory partners both inside Amway and in the industry. You will lead regulatory strategies in a dynamic product development setting, providing product access across the globe. Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or Analysis, with proficiency in analytical and scientific databases
  • Experience working with FDA food/nutrition laws and regulations, communicating and interpreting regulatory challenges
  • Experience working on cross-functional global project teams successfully through risk management scenarios
  • BS degree in Food, Regulatory Science, or a related sciences discipline (MS degree preferred)

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • A solution-oriented mindset, providing strategic regulatory recommendations for improvements
  • Strong collaboration skills with talent to communicate across cultures, influencing stakeholders
  • RAPS certification desirable but is not required

This group delivers scientifically sound regulatory strategies, which provide our Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) confidence, that they are selling a superior product. On this team you will provide counsel to cross functional teams on ingredient acceptability, formulation design, product labeling, claims and registration requirements. Working with our global team, we also monitor and interpret the impact of current, pending, and future regulations to ensure the Nutrition portfolio maintains compliance. If you would enjoy working on a technical, global, cross functional team, you will be offered broad opportunities for interesting work and development.
