Position: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Team: Digital account opening - marketing & digital commerce
Location: 5 days on-site | Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 month W2 contract to FTE
Type: W2 contract, paid hourly. No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted. Only direct W-2 candidates will be considered.
Pay Rate Range: W2 $75-85/hr

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to serve as a servant leader and ART coach, driving alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement across Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This role is critical in enabling predictable delivery, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring organizational agility at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Facilitate PI Planning events, including agenda, timing, cadence, and readiness activities.
- Partner with ART leadership, Product Management, and Tech Teams to align objectives and maintain data quality in Rally.
Flow Predictability
- Track and manage ART objectives, risks, and dependencies.
- Coach teams on predictability and facilitate planning conversations.
- Monitor ART progress, impediments, and metrics to ensure transparency and responsiveness.
Maturity Assessment of ART
- Evaluate ART health and maturity using industry best practices and metrics.
- Support decentralized execution and continuous improvement.
- Train executives, managers, and teams on Agile principles and mindset.
Inspect & Adapt
- Drive relentless improvement through Inspect & Adapt workshops and problem-solving sessions.
- Investigate anomalies and implement remediation strategies.
- Share resources and training on Rally tool competency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Proficiency in Rally (or Jira), PowerPoint and Tableau
- Financial industry experience
- Strong understanding of the SAFe framework and Agile principles.
- Proven ability to coach and train ART teams, Scrum Masters, and leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in CoPilot (or similar) and Miro
- Experience facilitating large-scale Agile events and workshops.
