Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Chat Support Representative to join our team. As a Chat Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support through online chat channels. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for helping others. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other team members to provide seamless support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support via online chat channels.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Guide customers through product features and functionalities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
  • Identify and report trends in customer issues.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services.
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rate.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on product updates and new features.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base and FAQs to help improve self-service resources for customers.

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or support role (at least 1 year preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using chat platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) is a plus.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
