The Team
We are seeking a Summer Intern to support the Safety & Compliance team. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to corporate safety programs, compliance tracking, and administrative processes that support a nationwide organization. The intern will assist with data management, documentation, and coordination activities while learning how safety and health programs operate in a regulated environment.
What You Can Offer Us
- Assist with reporting, metrics, and data entry related to safety and compliance programs.
- Support maintenance of the Safety & Health portal, including uploading documents, organizing files, and tracking training records.
- Help compile training and certification records for internal and external reporting needs.
- Assist the team with administrative filings, document reviews, and ad‑hoc requests.
- Support incident and near‑miss documentation by organizing information and preparing summaries for review by senior staff.
- Help track employee safety equipment requests and route inquiries to appropriate team members.
- Assist with coordination of safety training logistics, including tracking completion and maintaining rosters.
- Provide general administrative support such as scheduling assistance, meeting notes, and document formatting.
- Participate in team meetings and learning opportunities to gain exposure to safety, compliance, and regulatory concepts.
- Other duties as assigned in support of the Safety & Compliance team.
What You Need To Succeed
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Safety, Health & Environment, Public Health, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Or a related field
- No prior safety or compliance experience required.
- Experience with administrative work, data entry, or coursework involving research or reporting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with team members at different levels.
