MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and present technical proposals on how Medline's Anesthesia products (breathing circuits, pain management, nerve blocks, airways, pressure infusers, etc.) can meet customer needs and how they can be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipment.
Call on potential and existing customers, GPO, and IDNs within assigned territory (both independently and in collaboration with other Medline sales stakeholders) to expand or retain sales of Anesthesia product lines.
Prepare and present customer needs plan to Medline teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time, and environment constraints.
Analyze customer's system and product needs. Research customer's business.
Develop target lists of potential accounts.
Gather data and information on customers and participate in developing presentations relative to keeping customers current on product enhancements.
Become knowledgeable on Anesthesia within the customer’s business and with the support of all Clinical Resource Managers, Sales Specialists, and Product Divisions, establish and lead the implementation of strategies to introduce and implement Medline Anesthesia programs and/or products that best support the customer’s needs.
Responsible for implementing a strategic business plan that provides shared value to both Medline and the customer which will lead to the attainment of long-term sales targets and sustainable growth.
Evaluate account challenges, analyze customer data, and provide a consultative approach in partnership with field sales and other Medline resources to fulfill customer needs and deliver on overall business goals.
Responsible for understanding the account and building the business through fact-based knowledge by positioning products, programs, and promotions to help them maximize sales.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience
Willing to travel at least 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Previous experience selling in hospital and/or healthcare industry.
Proficient in CRM software.
Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years sales of sales experience, preferably within the Acute Care Anesthesia market
Experience in a full-cycle sales environment
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated compensation for this position includes $75,000 in guaranteed base salary with additional commission ranging between 4-12% net sales growth. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
