Salesforce Technical Project Manager

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing group has an opening for Salesforce Technical Project Managerto work within and across teams to prioritize, plan and execute the development schedule and resource management for Salesforce projects for our client, a large Financial Institution.

Position: 6 months rolling

Client: Big Five Bank

Time/ Location: 37.5 hours and Hybrid Toronto, Downtown Core

Who you are:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex, multi-layered technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise and project management excellence to drive solutions from requirements gathering through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership

  • Lead and manage scrum pods as Scrum Master, ensuring agile delivery methodologies
  • Drive complex systems integration projects involving multiple cross-functional teams
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements definition to final delivery
  • Coordinate delivery across 25+ enterprise systems integration points
  • Has demonstrated unique problem solving skills at a large enterprise

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementations including:
  • Sales Cloud configuration and customization
  • Experience Cloud development
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) integration
  • Loyalty management capabilities implementation
  • Manage Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks solution architecture
  • Ensure seamless integration across multi-layer solution architectures

Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate clear communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
  • Manage requirements using JIRA and Confluence platforms - Must be able to write complex JIRA queries and should be able to use EazyBI to generate dashboards
  • Present project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management

Technical Background

  • Proven experience with complex systems integration involving multiple teams and technologies
  • Strong understanding of multi-layer solution architectures in enterprise environments - must be able to draw clear diagrams of the solution and facilitate whiteboarding for problem resolution

Project Management Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience running scrum pods as Scrum Master, technical project management experience would be required as well
  • Experience managing fast-paced, complex technology projects
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for requirements and project management
  • Track record of successfully moving projects from requirements to delivery
  • Understands the financial management aspect of the Project work

Communication & Leadership

  • Exceptional communication skills - ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
  • Great at story telling to elaborate on key problems faced by Scrum teams to drive solution forward
  • Aware of the latest and greatest in the tech space, specially in the Salesforce and Microsoft Azure areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with financial services organizations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Data cloud ecosystems
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and Databricks
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks

Individual traits:

  • Self starter
  • Adept at building and managing relationships and white glove stakeholder management
  • Comes with Strong verbal and written recommendations
