Job Summary

Individual will lead analytics and assessment of Narrowband (NB) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) as well as integration of NB SATCOM with Enterprise SATCOM Management and Control (ESC-MC) in support of the Department of War's Office of the Chief Information Officer's (DoW CIO) SATCOM Branch.  Ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge/experience working within the Department of War, Joint Staff and or Service HQs at the Pentagon. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for liaising with United States Space Force and United States Space Command on all NB SATCOM issues and preparing talking papers, issue papers, engagement reports and presentations to guide and influence Senior Leader decision making.  Individual will understand how ESC-MC drives automation across the SATCOM enterprise and will work to ensure new capabilities are deliberately integrated to improve seamless communications for warfighters.  Individual will closely track on-going metrics for SATCOM modernization and report metrics in DoW-level toolsets.  Ideal candidate will have a broad background in all SATCOM disciplines to include the space, ground and user equipment segments.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline
