Job Description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Scale house Attendant. They maintain daily Scale House Responsibilities including creating weight tickets for local inbound customers, answering phones and directing any calls to applicable parties, assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, and including recording and reporting data. Duties and tasks are varied and may be somewhat complex.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately recording inbound and outbound weights for local gate customers.
  • Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by a member of the Management Team.
  • Assists in the implementation of operational projects, employee activities, annual events, customer appreciation, as needed.
  • Facilitates record retention as necessary and according to Company policy.
  • Collects and tracks data for internal employee safety incentive programs.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments on operations related activities.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Operations department.
  • Completes and Prepares Local Waste Manifests & sends to applicable customers.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
  • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard, mouse and other related equipment throughout the workday while seated at a desk or workstation
  • Ability to organize various office systems
  • Ability to multitask, be detail oriented, organize and prioritize work schedule
  • Must have good time management skills
  • Well spoken, articulate and courteous verbal, written and phone correspondence
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced
  • Prior Customer Service Experience preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with
  • Demonstrate initiative, including pro-actively identifying and addressing issues.
  • Maintain intermediate to advanced working knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
