Security Staff Engineer - Digital

Who We Are Looking For

The Security Staff Engineer in the Digital Operations Security team, is responsible for leading cyber security activities for the e-commerce ecosystem globally. You will be providing cyber security knowledge & experience to design, implementation, operations, and trouble shoot security technologies in your assigned Platform(s)/Product(s).

What you'll do

• Partner with IT Product teams, Corporate Security, and others to understand application and technology landscape to guide new security solutions as well as proactively enhance existing ones
• Establish and deliver security requirements and recommendations for all banners under TJX to improve the security posture
• Design cyber security strategy and contribute to discussions on standards, best practices and methodologies in cyber security
• Champions the adoption of shift-left of Application Security for Product and Platform teams to ensure that security is built in
• Remain current on cyber security market trends, tools, methodologies and approaches
• Optimize defined processes via automation and process improvement
• Mature Agile and DevOps practices
• Encouraged to mentor one or more junior members of the team.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Industry-relevant experience, with 6+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Application Security.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with WAFs, BOT Managers, Intrusion Detection, or API Protection
• 3+ years of experience in Akamai (or similar technology) and/or Splunk.
• Technical ability to lead strategy and solution design
• Experience with Java or Mobile Dev suite is a plus but fundamental knowledge is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Retail e-commerce
• Experience in Security Protection of Cloud Applications and API
• Security Certification like CISSP, GSEC, CISM, Security+ or similar is preferred but not required

This position has a starting salary range of $110,500 to $143,700 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
