The Senior AME + Process Engineering Manager is responsible for technical support and guidance on a day-to-day basis to their respective Work Centre, also ensuring that work centre's equipment is in good working order & available at the correct time for planned production. In addition, is also accountable to managing the Work Centre's Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) and 'best practice' working procedures. The position is responsible to manage the PE team between Midland and Houston sites.
Structuring the team to leverage the resources between Midland and Houston, leading the technical knowledge development for Extrusion and Tape, driving standardization between the Plants.
As The Senior AME + Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading/managing a team of 3 -5 engineers.
- Driving down CoNC by reviewing run data & identifying new and/or methods.
- Review of Incident reports.
- Review of process Inspection records (P.I.R.).
- Ensuring all work is completed to the appropriate quality.
- Work Centre Visual Display Management board support.
- Recommend and implement containment / /corrective and preventative action
- NCR Disposition.
- Driving down CoNC by reviewing run data & identifying new and/or methods.
- Review of Incident reports.
- Review of process Inspection records (P.I.R.).
- Facilitate in Lead Op. LDMS/PVD meetings.
- Ensuring 5C condition is implemented and supports the sustainability on work centre's 5C.
- Examine alternatives and implement best choice solutions after seeking agreement with Engineer.
- Participate in or lead CI activities as directed & liaise with Manufacturing Improvement team.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing Engineer Degree or similar degree is required.
- 5 years' experience working as a Process Engineer or an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
- 5 years' experience in Extrusion and Tape, driving standardization between the Plants is preferred.
- 5 years' experience in Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience with Driving down CoNC by reviewing run data & identifying new and/or methods.
- Experience leading/managing a team of 3 -5 engineers.
