Offered Wage: $118,248/year

Senior Associate to leverage financial planning, risk management, advanced financial modeling, risk analysis, and strategic planning to analyze master projection model usage and perform in-depth analysis of in-vestment performance. Conduct monthly portfolio cost analysis to set credit rates by contributing to derivative and cashflow models, gathering data from other groups, and generating scenario analyses. Enhance strategic planning for asset liability management (ALM) by managing risks associated with investment portfolios and asset liquidity. Improve workflow processes and elevate efficiency by migrating portions of model input and output from Excel to Python eliminating manual data manipulation and running models. Complete ad hoc requests, including portfolio yields scenario analysis and investment costs to set credit rates for multiple product lines. Requires: Master's degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Actuary Science, Financial Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus one year of experience as a Senior Associate or related occupation in a data or quantitative role developing and analyzing financial models with insurance related experience, or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Actuary Science, Financial Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience as a Senior Associate or related occupation in a data or quantitative role developing and analyzing financial models with insurance related experience. Specific skills/other requirements- Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): input data into financial model using SQL and Excel; leverage Python and Excel VBA models to perform complex calculations, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the output of monthly crediting rates; integrate trend and factor changes (e.g., credit spreads, interest rate fluctuations) into models, ensuring alignment with current business strategies; identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for optimization; develop and improve financial model automation and implement additional data validation checks, error-handling mechanisms, and control frameworks to minimize operational risks; Microsoft Excel Macro and VBA, Python and SQL, Tableau, and professional knowledge of insurance industry; risk expertise including Risk Reporting (RCSA, KRI, Risk Heatmap, Gap analysis, Risk metrics) or Risk Modeling (VaR, ES, Risk Exposures).

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
