Senior Business Manager

What you will do:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Consult and partner with executive management to identify key business issues, outline strategic alternatives, and recommend effective solutions to align with Premera's strategic goals.
  • Perform independent analyses for a broad array of complex issues across disciplines and functional areas. Identify and recommend suggested action steps based on analytic results, and make recommendations to senior management.

Communication and Presentation:

  • Create, leverage, align, and integrate communication strategies and collateral. Collaborate with others to gain buy-in on programs and processes from business stakeholders.
  • Shape sensitive messages and leader-level communications, propose wording, and merge drafts to land the right tone and messaging before distribution.

Project and Program Management:

  • Lead the integration of priority projects and programs by developing project team objectives, managing risk, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and outcomes.
  • Partner closely with teams and leaders to design, implement, and operate new programs and/or enhancements.

Collaboration and Performance:

  • Increase team performance and inter-departmental collaboration through contributing insights, leveraging resources, and providing support via scalable projects, programs, and/or initiatives.
  • Partner with the Compliance and Ethics team to refine policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field or four years of work experience.
  • Eight years of experience in developing, implementing, training, and supporting new or existing strategic programs and processes.
  • Eight years of program, project, or change management experience (or a combination of the three).
  • Experience in human resources or a similar field is preferred.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Plus Salary Range:

$119,900.00 - $203,800.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
