NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Senior Coordinator, Growth Engagement & Inclusion based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

This person is responsible for supporting the programming of the Growth Engagement & Inclusion team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Adept at strategic project coordination and planning
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Proficient in relationship management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business or related field plus
  • Minimum of 4 (four) years’ experience in event/project management, program development, and/or employee belonging, growth & engagement activations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background in sports, entertainment, or large-scale event management preferred. Experience building relationships with colleges, universities, and community organizations is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees of organization, and diverse audiences.
  • Speaking and writing in Spanish are a plus, though not a requirement.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient with Company-provided hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project) preferred.
