FactSet is seeking a Senior Principal Program Manager to lead large-scale, strategic programs for complex enterprise clients within the Institutional Buy Side business unit. In this role, you will partner with a wide range of stakeholders including senior leadership and cross-functional global teams to ensure successful delivery of client solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in client facing program/project management and organizational change management and is skilled at facilitating executive-level conversations and presenting to C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Own program-level planning, execution, and reporting of select high visible programs and projects, ensuring transparency across stakeholder groups and alignment with business priorities

  • Facilitate executive conversations to ensure project alignment, resolve escalations, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Work with stakeholders to define program scope, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of programs

  • Track and monitor progress, define key performance indicators or success metrics by program, and be able to report on status against program objectives

  • Take direct ownership and intervene when necessary to stabilize struggling projects by addressing bottlenecks in planning, communication, and execution

  • Identify and advocate for changes that improve the program management process, tools and best practices

  • Proactively escalate and report on issues, risks, and blockers to senior leadership, ensuring timely resolution and keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.

  • Conduct ongoing evaluations, capture insights, and continuously evolve program management practices to drive productivity, adapt to challenges, and improve future planning

  • Ability to manage client expectations effectively, including diplomatically pushing back when needed to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of program management experience or equivalent background leading complex, cross-functional projects in a technology or financial services environment

  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, with a strong ability to communicate effectively, manage expectations, and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management, including facilitating executive-level conversations and presenting to C-suite stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs from inception to completion

  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, and RAID log tracking

  • Strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate, bring people together, and drive to results are essential

  • Experience influencing and collaborating with global, cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field

  • Nice to have: PMP® (Project Management Professional) or a PgMP® (Program Management Professional).

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.

The budgeted amount range for this position in the States of Connecticut and in New York City is 163K- 204K
