Senior Product Designer - B2C / Branding
Job Description
Our client, a global leader in eCommerce technology, is looking for a Senior Product Designer to assist their team. This will be a hybrid onsite / remote role based in NYC (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
The Senior Product Designer will:
-have strong B2C experience, and fluency in crafting design systems, dashboards, internal tools, and complex systems
-ability to conduct / synthesize user research, run usability testing sessions, product high fidelity design mockups and prototypes in Figma, and have a strong sense of how to turn rough ideas into usable, viable products
-utilize a client's brand guidelines / design systems + library to create various types of digital products / platforms that incorporate their software
The Senior Product Designer has:
-7+ years of experience as a product designer, and a strong portfolio of B2C design work (ideally work that shows ability to craft a design experience using existing brand guidelines + ability to work within various design systems)
-strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
-the ability to articulate and champion your design choices
-the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a willingness to take ownership and responsibility for complex systems and outcomes
-experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, including: Product Managers, Software Engineers, Senior Stakeholders, and of course, other designers
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
