Senior Software Engineer in Test (SQL, ETL, DATA LAKE, REPORTING)
Fidelity Investments Workplace Investing (WI) organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in test to join one of the Client Reporting squads within our Data Out - Client Reporting domain tasked with modernizing the outbound reporting platform and strategy within our market leading global equity compensation platform.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
7+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
Strong SQL skills plus Java and Python development experience
2+ years of Big Data, Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience is desired
Experience with ETL Data Pipeline testing of Data Warehouse platforms; exposure to iCEDQ test tool preferred
Experienced in Big Data Reporting Tools (OBIEE / Tableau / Power BI)
Familiarity with business intelligence reporting platforms, such as Power BI, would be advantageous
Playwright, Selenium knowledge good to have but not must
Strong working knowledge of relational databases, like Oracle or Postgres, and data lake/warehouse concepts, such as Snowflake
Knowledge of data pipeline testing will be a distinct advantage
Ability to work effectively with product development, external teams, and management
Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
ISTQB Certification (nice to have)
Experience as Software Engineer in test automation of RESTful services (Cucumber, Junit, Selenium, RestAssured, Git, Gradle, Maven)
Data Engineer working with the latest Big Data technologies and tools (Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Azure)
Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks and demonstrate proficiency, quality and passion in your coding ability
Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, Restful API's, Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash
