Do you enjoy teaching complex technical concepts and empowering others to solve real-world problems?We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Training Engineer to deliver high-impact training programs on MathWorks products, with a focus on image processing, Computer Vision, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and AI applications.This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data science and engineering who enjoys helping others learn and succeed.


Location Options: Natick, MA | Novi, MI | Plano, TX | Chevy Chase, MD | Torrance, CA


Travel Requirement: Up to 25%

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver Technical Training: Lead engaging, hands-on courses on MATLAB, Simulink, and related toolboxes, tailored to customer applications in image processing, ADAS, and AI.

  • Perform Needs Analysis:Leveraging skill gap and learning needs analyses to design persona-specific learning paths.

  • Customize Learning Experiences: Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and develop customized training curricula that address specific technical learning needs.

  • Drive Product Adoption: Ensure successful onboarding and usage of MathWorks products by helping customers apply tools effectively to their projects.

  • Provide Strategic Feedback: Share insights from training sessions with internal teams to influence product development and sales strategies.

  • Cross Collaboration:Collaborating across customer-facing engineering, development, marketing, and sales teams to deliver optimal training solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Enhance Course Quality: Continuously improve training delivery based on participant feedback and learning outcomes.

  • Support Content Development: Contribute to the creation and refinement of course materials to reflect the latest product features and industry trends.

  • Stay Current: Maintain expertise in emerging technologies and new capabilities within MathWorks products to ensure up-to-date instruction.


Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Engineering required, preferably in Electrical Engineering with a focus on image processing or computer vision

  • Passion forteachingandenabling others to succeed

  • Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and statistical analysis

  • Exposure to ADAS technologies, multi-sensor data fusion, or path planning algorithms is a plus

  • Experience using MATLAB and Simulink in academic or industry settings

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior teaching, training, or TA experience is highly desirable


Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
