Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily cash management of the business in North America and EU, including: the determination of the opening bank balance in various currencies, the identification of the daily in and out flows, adjustments associated to seasonality and external factors, cross country funding
- Communicate with controllers on borrowing/investing requirements and cash flow forecasts
- Manage the opening and closing of bank accounts
- Manage signatory rights and authorities and related legal documentation
- Monitor the borrowing (debt) position of legal entities across NA and EU
- Maintain static data accuracy in treasury systems
- Maintain/report listing of current bank accounts in NA and EU
- Benchmark, track, and analyze bank service fees
- Provide support and training to local finance team on cash pool structure and management
- Lead treasury support service for administrative procedure while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of response to requests
- Support Shared Service Center on cash management issues
- Act as a liaison between local Finance Clerks and Banks’ Treasury Services
- Participate in Global cash management initiatives
Supervisory Capacity: No Supervisory Responsibilities
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support compliance with internal control policy
- Partner with Accounting, Tax, Legal and FP&A regarding activities as they relate to Treasury Text
- Performs other related duties as required or requested
Education: Bachelor's Level Degree; Area of Study: Accounting, Finance or similar.
*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 Minimum Years of Experience in Finance, preferably with a multi-national company
- 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the industrial / automotive sector
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Must demonstrate overall business acumen and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographic teams
- Proficient Excel, Word, Power Point skills
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cash flow management
