Senior Wedding Producer - Onsite 5 days a week in NYC

Job Description

Our client, a luxury event company, is looking for a full time Senior Event Producer to join their team starting as soon as identified.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite in Manhattan 5 days per week as well as onsite at event spaces as needed.

As the Senior Event Producer, you will be overseeing a team of 3-4 people on a day to day on the development and execution of bespoke private events.

The Senior Event Producer will be responsible for: 
- leading and managing a team of 3-4 through all phases of event production
- overseeing pre-production in-office, ensuring all elements are aligned with the creative vision and production timeline.
- directing the execution of events on-site, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
- collaborating with creative teams to select fonts, paper stocks, and design elements for invitations and printed materials
- working with calligraphers, printers, and graphic designers to ensure all visual elements reflect the creative vision of the event
- communicating clearly and effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment and excellence at every stage 
- making decisive creative and logistical calls, from verbiage on invitations to build instructions for fabrication teams

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in luxury event production, preferably with a focus on private events (not conferences or trade shows)
- proven experience leading teams and managing complex, large-scale events
- strong background in wedding production is highly desirable
- deep understanding of luxury materials, including paper quality, printing techniques, and design aesthetics
- exceptional communication and leadership skills
- the ability to move quickly and adapt to changes
- strong problem solving skills 
- a strong sense of graphic design and visual storytelling

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.

  • Provider:  Oxford Freedom through United Healthcare. 
  • Eligibility: 1st of the month following 3 months of employment as a Full-Time Employee, or Full-Time Equivalent Employee.
  • Employer Contribution: 50% of Low Plan, bi-weekly (2x a month max)

Commuter Benefits

This is a program where employees can elect to withhold money from their pay-check pre-tax to be used for commuter expenses.

Company Paid Holidays

The Company observes Seven (7) holidays each year:

  • New Year's Day                               January 1

  • Christmas Day                                  December 25

  • One religious holiday                      Holiday of your choosing

Paid sick days

Employees have 40 paid Sick Hours to utilize each calendar year.  

  • Eligibility:  Immediately
  • Accrual rate: Sick Days do not accrue and are available immediately

Vacation/Personal Time Off  (PTO)

  • Eligibility:  Must be a full-time or salaried office employee or Manager. 
  • Accrual Rate: 
    • 1st Year - Accrual rate = 10 PTO days/Year
    • At 2nd Year Anniversary - Accrual Rate increases 12 PTO days/year.
    • After 3rd Year - Accrual Rate increases to 19 PTO days/year.
  • Wait Time:  Although accrual begins immediately, you may not use PTO until you hit your 6-month anniversary date.
  • PTO form: Form must be submitted for vacation request.
    •  PTO forms can be found: Company Drive à Accounting Folder à Benefits Forms Folder à Employee Vacation Request Form.

PTO is accrued throughout the year and is pro-rated when applicable.

  • The period between Christmas and New Year's is discretionary vacation time as determined by Client

401K / Profit Sharing Plan

  • Eligibility:  January 1st or July 1st following 1-year of employment
  • 401K Match: None
  • Profit Sharing Plan:  Discretionary
