Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer.  This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
 
What You'll Get To Do: 
The primary role of this position will be to guide and lead the ME team's common processes and tool effort. This role will be very engaged with the ME team in the day-to-day activities of design reviews, producibility analysis, demand loading, and shop floor planning. In addition, this role is to provide technical leadership and manufacturing expertise to the team. The position will be a key leadership interfacing role with all IPTs, Supplier Management leads, and customers in establishing baselines, validating updates, follow-up, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of affordability and deployment strategies aligned with the strategic long-range program goals.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• 12 Years with Bachelor's in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD.  4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

• Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in an aerospace or military aviation Manufacturing Engineering role or similar role.

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools including CPLM, SAP, MES or other related applications.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Experienced interfacing with Supplier Management Team

• RCI disposition experience

• Influence & drive engineering compliance

• ICBM experience

• Supported a missile production program

• Proficient in creating MASC's (Manufacturing Assembly Sequence Charts)

• Experience creating CDRL /MFG plans

• Experienced leading and mentoring

• Experienced creating Technical Documentation

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Driving Configuration Management

Primary Level Salary Range: $134,300.00 - $201,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
