Our client, a faith-based publishing company in Nashville, is looking for a freelance Social Media Manager to work with their team in a hybrid capacity for about 35-40 hours a week starting as soon as identified.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be leading both the content creation and strategic planning of the company's social media platforms. The Social Media Manager will be focusing primarily on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for: 
- developing and implementing a cross-platform social media strategy focused on growth and engagement 
- creating and managing a content calendar in collaboration with the Creative Director of the company 
- analyzing performance metrics and creating reports on trends, growth, and engagement 
- working with a Video Producer to create short form video content for social channels 
- finding opportunities to repurpose and reuse content as needed 
- capturing footage of events onsite utilizing a company issued cell phone and/or a DSLR camera 
- managing messaging and interactions across platforms to foster community and increase engagement
- stay culturally aware and responsive to audience interests and feedback
- utilizing Later for scheduling posts (open to exploring other platforms)
- working in the Adobe Creative Suite for content creation

REQUIREMENTS: 
- 3+ years of social media management and content creation 
- proficient ability to work in the Adobe Creative Suite 
- working knowledge of Later or similar posting / scheduling platforms 
- strong communication and collaboration while working both onsite and offsite 
- a creative thinker who can bring new ideas to the table for social media platforms 

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
