HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Responsible for designing, creating, implementing, and integrating software with data repositories or independently performs exceptionally complex software development tasks.

• Interacts with customers and development team to gather and define requirements

• Build and secure RESTful/or GraphQL APIs that facilitate communication between systems.

• Implements authentication and authorization protocols to safeguard API endpoints

• Design, develop and maintain high quality software applications and services

• Analyzes and studies customer requirements to determine the most effective software technologies to satisfy mission needs

• Coordinates creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent design.

• Upgrade applications from 16-bit and 32-bit to 64-bit applications.

• Develops and maintains software development technical documentation.

• Ensures efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry and DoD standards and repeatable processes.

• Must have experience utilizing agile/XP (Extreme Programming) techniques and languages.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Required Education and Experience: BA/BS + 8 years

• Certifications: DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II (e.g. Security+)

• Technologies: SQL, Oracle, Apache Tomcat, Java JRE, Linux RedHat,

• Location: 100% On Customer Site
