Job Description

EMPLOYER: Thryv, Inc.

JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

LOCATION: DFW Airport, TX, and telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US

DUTIES: Build front-end applications with Angular and React. Develop APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express. Develop interfaces with SQL and NoSQL based databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to optimize data storage and retrieval processes. Utilize CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Github and Jenkins to streamline deployment processes and enhance development workflows. Utilize OAuth, JSON Web Token, Digital Certificates, Basic Authentication, and OpenID, ensuring secure application development. Develop cloud computing services with AWS. Containerize applications using Docker or Kubernetes.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and college coursework, internship, and/or experience with the following: Node.js, React, Gitlab, Github, Cloud Computing with AWS, and Containerization with Docker; developing interfaces with SQL and MySQL; MongoDB to optimize data storage and retrieval processes; developing APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express; building front end applications using React.js and Vue.js.; and developing cloud computing services with AWS. Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.
