Are you eager to gain hands-on experience developing high-quality software at MathWorks? We are seeking motivated individuals for Software Engineer in Test internships available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. As part of the Engineering Development Group, you'll have the opportunity to develop and apply software testing skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.


Interns work in a wide range of areas such as Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, AI, Code Generation, Compilers, Data Analysis and Visualization, and Web and UI technologies.


This internship will prepare you for a Software Engineer in Test career at MathWorks starting in our Engineering Development Group.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate closely with Software Engineering in Test teams and work with modern tools and frameworks to build automated testing solutions, design test strategies, author tools and harnesses, and improve code coverage.You will work with one of our 100+ products and gain exposure to industry best practices in software qualification, continuous integration, and agile development.


This internship is a great opportunity to learn about MathWorks products, software development processes, workflows, and best practices. Get ready to dive into the exciting world of software engineering and gain valuable experience that will set you apart!


Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C++, JavaScript, MATLAB, etc.)

  • Passion for learning new technologies.

  • Experience in software testing or testing frameworks is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience with web development and/or cloud technologies is a plus.


Required Qualifications
  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
