Job Description
This role focuses heavily on Java and Object Oriented development (not web development, etc.) We are open to interviewing candidates who do not yet hold a clearance, but who have the ability to obtain/maintain one.
Basic Qualifications:
• Software Engineer level- 2 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM- required by the program); OR Masters Degree.
• Principal Software Engineer level- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD
• Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
• Experience developing software using Java
• Experience developing software using C++
• Experience developing software on Linux
• Experience managing source code using Git, GitHub, or GitLab
Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/DevOps environment
Qualifications that would be nice to have:
• Experience with Python

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
