Genesys is seeking a Sr. Director, Product Management to lead the Event Data Platform. A core component which powers real-time orchestration, intelligent routing, and AI/ML workloads by unifying data from Genesys native channels, 3rd party systems, and interaction records into a modern data lakehouse. It enables enterprises to simplify data management and extract actionable insights to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

In this role, you will oversee the development of the data lakehouse and unified customer profile while ensuring the integration and alignment of data from diverse sources. This is an opportunity to shape how global organizations leverage data to drive analytics, orchestration, and AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Vision & Leadership:

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Event Data Platform, aligning with Genesys’s business objectives and customer needs.

  • Serve as the product leader for integrating data from native Genesys channels, third-party systems, and flattened interaction records into a unified data framework.

Platform Development:

  • Oversee the design and delivery of a modern data lakehouse that enables seamless ingestion, transformation, and governance of large-scale data.

  • Build and maintain a unified customer profile that integrates interaction records, behavioral insights, and 3rd-party data for real-time orchestration and personalization.

Collaboration & Operational Excellence:

  • Work closely with enterprise customers to gather insights, refine use cases, and prioritize product features that deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure platform governance and usability. Use insights to continuously improve platform capabilities and align with evolving customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in data platforms, analytics, or AI/ML.

  • Proven success in delivering enterprise-grade data solutions, including data integration, transformation, and analytics platforms.

  • Experience managing products that support large-scale data ingestion, governance, and orchestration across diverse sources.

Technical Expertise:

  • Advanced experience building scalable data lakes and pipelines.

  • Proficiency in serverless computing and event-driven architectures.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native tools for data transformation, orchestration, and governance.

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical and business teams.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in dynamic environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$204,300.00 - $379,500.00
