Senior Estimator – Mission-Critical/Data Center ProjectsLocation: Buckhead, GA
Salary Range: $125,000–$140,000 (based on experience)
Position Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Estimator with strong mechanical and electrical expertise and proven experience in data center projects. This role is pivotal in supporting pre-construction efforts and delivering accurate, competitive pricing for complex, large-scale projects.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage detailed pre-construction pricing reports for mission-critical facilities.
- Coordinate bids and work closely with procurement teams to ensure accurate cost analysis.
- Communicate with subcontractors across multiple markets to secure competitive rates.
- Evaluate scopes of work and confirm alignment with project requirements.
- Prepare and review comprehensive cost estimates for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver timely, precise estimates.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience with data center projects (technical expertise required).
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to develop scopes of work and evaluate subcontractor proposals.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Utility background (flexible if strong data center experience).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years in estimating or related roles.
- Open to Project Managers looking to transition into estimating.
