Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions (S&PS) is a strategic business group of Honeywell. With more than60,000 productsranging fromsnap action,limit,toggleand pressure switches toposition, speed, pressure,and airflow sensors, Honeywell S&PS is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors, switches, machine safeguarding and other devices used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the medical, industrial, transportation, aerospace, and test and measurement businesses. The Richardson Sensor Foundry produces over 250 million sensing elements per year, enabling Honeywell's global sensing product line. Located in Richardson, Texas (Dallas area), this is a position to launch a new product in a new high automation semiconductor assembly factory. The Senior Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer will direct process release and overall project progress, from equipment purchase to production ramp up.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hands on Experience with Semiconductor Assembly Equipment: Solder Print, Adhesive Dispense, Gel Ring Attach, Optical Metrology.
  • Processing owner for multiple assembly processes
  • Drive continuous improvement actions for quality thruput
  • Read and interpret part drawings to ensure processes are meeting specifications
  • Interface with operator, technicians, and design engineering
  • Guide problem solving efforts for machine or quality problems
  • Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions
  • Ensure all internal manufacturing, development, and suppliers are capable and conform to the customer expectation, product performance, and quality plan.
  • Develop and maintain company, site, and department metrics.
  • Install, Release to Manufacturing and Maintain Semiconductor Assembly Equipment for initial production launch.

MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Experience in Semiconductor or Electronic Assembly.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Experience releasing new capital equipment to Production

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 2 years of engineering experience
  • Ability to Qualify New Semiconductor Packaging and inspection equipment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of process variation,statistical analysis, and statistical controls. Six Sigma Green belt or
  • Black belt certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
