• Develop and operationalize OAuth authentication frameworks, token management patterns, certificate-based authentication, and secure connectivity standards.
• Build and maintain API lifecycle management capabilities including design standards, versioning, documentation, monitoring, deprecation, and retirement practices.
• Define and enforce integration and security standards to ensure consistent adoption across the ServiceNow platform.
• Support OAuth modernization efforts by migrating legacy authentication patterns toward modern, secure, supportable authentication models.
• Engineer platform security guardrails including ACLs, scoped application security, API access controls, credential handling standards, and integration control patterns.
• Develop reusable services that enable applications, automations, AI agents, orchestration platforms, and external enterprise systems to securely consume ServiceNow capabilities.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, performance telemetry, alerting, and operational controls for integrations, APIs, and authentication services.
• Respond to integration and platform security alerts, incidents, and service degradation events; triage issues, document root cause, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform approved platform changes, configuration updates, integration deployments, and operational maintenance activities in alignment with change, risk, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, risk, architecture, infrastructure, product, application, and operations partners to implement secure and scalable technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation standards, reference patterns, support runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, reusable patterns, and secure platform best practices.
